After a lifetime in dairy farming, when we found ourselves in need of the benefits provided by lower lactose products, it was a natural transition for Harlan Farms to add goats to our enterprise.
We began making raw goat milk cheese nearly 10 years ago. Since then, we have spent countless hours perfecting our processes, techniques, and recipes to expand our product line. All of our cheeses are made with 100% raw goat milk, salt, water, vegetable rennet and cultures. To make some of our flavored cheeses, we add fresh ingredients such as blueberries, cranberries, lemon zest, or spices. Our cheeses are aged at least 90 days before they're ready to enjoy.
We vacuum pack and ship our cheese in specially designed food shipping containers to ensure they arrive at your door chilled and ready to eat.
Our goal is to offer unique and healthy alternatives to the high lactose and by-product filled cheeses currently available in most stores.
